    Super cozy stay!

Had a lovely time in this charming place. The hosts were super friendly, and I loved the homemade cakes and biscuits. The room was spotless and comfy, with a fridge stocked with yummy chocolates! The outdoor picnic area was a nice touch, too. Just a bit noisy at night, but it didn't ruin the vibe.

    roadside noise
    room allocation challenge

Breakfast was a full-on feast with a grand mix of cooked options, and those little touches like chocolates and fresh fruit made my stay feel proper special. Plus, the hosts, Charles and Christine, are genuinely lovely characters who really know how to make you feel at home.

Some of the front rooms are near the main road, but honestly, it wasn’t noisy, and I was offered a quiet room at the back instead.

    stunning bed
    delicious breakfast
    low shower pressure
    limited lighting
    dated furnishings

The four-poster room offered a regal atmosphere with a stunning bed and thoughtful amenities like fresh fruit and chocolates. Breakfast featured locally sourced produce, expertly prepared and delicious. The location was perfectly situated near pubs and restaurants, enhancing the overall experience. the room could benefit from more lighting options, and the shower pressure was slightly low. While the decor was charming, some furnishings felt a bit dated.
